A vision board is a visual representation of the goals and dreams you have for yourself. Typically, vision boards include images, words, and phrases that inspire and motivate you to take action towards achieving those goals.
Vision boards serve as a reminder and a source of inspiration, and are used to help focus and clarify your goals so that you can make them a reality.
I held a vote on my Instagram asking people if they create vision boards for their year and projects etc and the answers were a mixture of the affirmative, some confusion and some people didn’t rock with it.

As a creative, I love visualizing and creating pictures in my mind when I am working on anything. That is how I get my creative juices flowing and my energy high to complete the work to achieve that image in my mind and bring it to reality.
I realized that the biggest, most important project I will ever work on is my life, so therefore I buy into that idea of having the vision board and knowing that we are working towards creating that dream girl and dream life that lives rent-free in my mind.
Some of you may be like me in this respect, this is why I created a very quick tutorial to get you started on your vision board to actualize your goals.
Step-by-step guide to creating a Vision Board.
1. Take a pen ans a paper or digitally write down your top 5-10 goals . Yes these goals have to be realistic and actionable
2. Now use this list to search for images on Pinterest or stock images to save pictures that explain this goal. For example, If you have to travel to Paris on your list, then take a picture of the Effiel tower or any Parisian momentum you may like to see and save that image.
3. Save a base image as well for the background of the vision board, I love aesthetics so of course do this, afterward use your Instagram stories section to add all your other saved images on the background images. Keep manipulating it until you have something you like. Add words of affirmation and motibation that you can read back to yourself.
4. Viola! Save, share, use as wallpaper, print it etc.

For a visual explanation, here is a video explaining the above steps better.
